Haribo Gold Bears
(Fruit flavour jelly pieces)
See the ALLERGENS & NUTRITIONAL INFO. tab below for further ingredients' details
We have a lot to thank Haribo from Fried Eggs, Friendship Rings or Haribo Strawbs. But it all started with Haribo Gold Bears, and in my opinion, the classic gummy bear is still the ultimate when it comes to Haribo. They're so good they are a staple of Haribo Starmix and the first to be eaten every time. Can you imagine a bag of Starmix without the bears? No, neither can we!
Haribo Bears come in six wonderful flavours from Raspberry to Lemon and we love them all! Who knew that the Strawberry flavoured Gold Bears are green! Whilst we know the flavours are amazing, unfortunately, we can't tell you why they're called 'Gold Bears'...we're not sure if they're named after the gold bag or it's the other way round.
Haribo began operating from a small kitchen in Germany in 1920. By 1922 Hans Riegel had invented the Haribo Gold Bear’s predecessor, the Dancing Bear. Who knew Haribo Bears are such a retro sweet?
By 1960 these original German sweets became the famous Haribo Gold Bear which even today is still Germany’s bestselling sweet. From a country with such a rich history in chocolate and sweets, that's some claim to fame for the humble gummy bear.
Grab a bag of these retro bears today. If you're buying as a gift then we also sell giant personalised jars full to the brim of Haribo Bears!
